MEET YOUR COACHES

Miguel “MCKO” Cruz (28) began his boxing journey at just 11 years old in St. Petersburg, Florida — the same gym where he would later step into a leadership role, coaching children by the age of 15. From a young age, boxing wasn’t just a sport for Miguel — it was a calling.

At 17 years old, Miguel captured the Florida State ISKA Featherweight Championship Title, building an undefeated record in both boxing and Muay Thai kickboxing. His competitive success was fueled by discipline, grit, and a relentless commitment to mastering his craft — traits that would later define his coaching philosophy and entrepreneurial journey.

The name MCKO is actually his artist name. “MC on the mic, KO in the ring” is his slogan. Miguel’s music is a reflection of his personal life, his albums are the seasons of his life captured into lyrical storytelling. Although he does rap, his music does not fit the “rap” genre. His wife also makes music under the name “Divina”. Together they both have over 100 songs available now on all music streaming platforms.

Beyond the ring, Miguel proved himself as a visionary leader. He founded To The Top Boxing Club in Casselberry, Florida — which quickly became one of Central Florida’s top-rated boxing gyms. After two successful years of ownership and growth, Miguel sold the gym and later relocated to Florida’s Space Coast, where he founded MCKO Boxing in Melbourne, FL. Under his leadership, MCKO Boxing represents more than training — it embodies discipline, character development, and real boxing taught the right way.

The mission is simple:

To use the discipline of boxing to bring out the absolute best in every person who walks through the doors.

From beginners to aspiring professionals, Miguel “MCKO” Cruz continues to build fighters — inside and outside the ring.

Coach Bobby, known inside the ring as “No Love,” began his boxing journey on June 17th, 2023 — and from day one, he committed to the raw, honest grind that defines the sport.

What drew Bobby to boxing was its consistency and truth. There are no shortcuts. No gimmicks. No hiding. Boxing exposes who you are — and more importantly, who you’re capable of becoming. That’s why he fell in love with it.

To Coach Bobby, boxing is one of the greatest tools for personal development. He believes beginners should embrace the challenge and push themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. Through the discipline of training, you discover that you are far more capable than you ever imagined. The bag doesn’t lie. The ring doesn’t lie. But if you’re willing to work, it will transform you.

Training with Coach Bobby means embracing the “No Love” mentality — not negativity, but relentless standards. It’s about hard work, embracing the grind, and staying disciplined when it would be easier not to. “No Love” represents toughness, accountability, and a commitment to growth.

If you’re ready to level up, build resilience, and get right —

Coach Bobby is ready to put you to work.

Coach Preston “Pressure” Moss began his boxing journey in 2024, but from the very start, he understood something deeper about the sport — boxing doesn’t lie.

What Preston loves most about boxing is that it exposes the truth internally. You can’t fake conditioning. You can’t fake discipline. You can’t fake mentality. If you’re not eating right, boxing will expose it. If you’re not exercising consistently, boxing will expose it. If your mindset isn’t strong, boxing will expose it. And if you’re not being honest with yourself as a man or woman, boxing will reveal that too.

To Coach Preston, boxing is more than punches and footwork — it’s a mirror. Whether inside the ring or facing the battles of everyday life, boxing forces you to confront yourself. That honesty sharpens you. It carries over into business, relationships, health, and every arena of life.

For beginners, Coach Preston believes boxing reveals a glimpse of their true potential. It builds confidence. It develops endurance — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. The lessons learned through boxing extend far beyond the gym and prepare you for life as a whole.

When you train with “Pressure,” expect to be pushed. Expect moments where you want to quit — and moments where you discover you’re capable of far more than you thought. He teaches that nothing great in boxing or in life comes easy. Growth requires effort. Success requires discipline.

Come ready to work.

Bring your goals — in boxing or in life — and Coach Preston will help you do what needs to be done to accomplish them.
